NL//  Vanuit de constante zoektocht naar eigenheid en originaliteit verwerk ik mijn passie voor analoge illustratie in combinatie met digitale technieken. Mijn fascinatie voor het menselijk lichaam en het psychische aspect dienen als inspiratie voor het werk wat vaak gaat over mijn perspectief op het leven vanuit persoonlijke levenservaringen.

 

Mijn huidige project gaat over stemmingswisselingen en de schommeling in zelfbeeld tijdens het creatieve proces. Ik benader het onderwerp creativiteit vanuit een persoonlijk perspectief. Vanuit de waarneming van een gevoel, een gevoel die in relatie staat tot mijn huidige gemoedstoestand, creëer ik het beeld. Met een poëtische boodschap laat ik het werk vrij voor eigen interpretatie.

Tijdens het creëren van een illustratie denk ik constant in beweging, in mijn hoofd staat het beeld nooit stil. Ik geloof er in dat beweging en emotie elkaar versterken, daarom verwerk ik mijn stilstaande beelden in bewegend beeld, zoals animatie video’s.

 

ENG//  From the constant search for individuality and originality, I process my passion for analog illustration in combination with digital techniques. My fascination for the human body and the psychological aspect inspire the work that often concerns my perspective on life from personal life experiences.

 

My current project is about mood swings and the fluctuation in self-image during the creative process. I approach the subject of creativity from a personal perspective. I create the image from the perception of a feeling that is related to my current state of mind. With a poetic message, the work is free for your own interpretation.

 

While creating an illustration I always think in motion. I believe that movement and emotion reinforce each other, so I convert my still images into moving images, such as animation videos.
